We collect your Personal Information via the Site only when you expressly provide it to us, namely to submit requests for information, download information, create an account and corresponding user profile. In addition, to make a payment for E2Excel services, we use a payment processing service called Braintree that will require submission of credit card or bank information. 2. INFORMATION WE TRACK.

As part of operating the Site and providing the Services to you, we automatically gather and log certain website usage data, such as how frequently you visit certain areas of the Site, what data is viewed and/or downloaded, and the searches conducted. Your employer, or an academic or non-profit institution with which you are affiliated, may purchase E2Excel’s Services for your use. They will provide us with personal data about you and your eligibility to use the Services that they purchase for use by their workers, students or alumni. For example, we will get contact information for administrators and authorized users of our Services. In addition, your employer, academic or non-profit institution can review and manage your use of such contracted E2Excel Services.

5. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

The Personal Information E2Excel gathers from you or your employer may be used for the following purposes: (i) to provide the Services to you and that you or your employer have purchased; (2) to respond to your requests and inquiries, (3) to manage your Registered User account; (4) to investigate, respond to and resolve any complaints or Service issues and (5) to contact you when necessary. Please understand that if you choose not to receive promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your relationship, activities, transactions and communications with us. Any and all uses of Personal Information by E2Excel comply with applicable laws.

6. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

We will attempt to contact a user about legal demands for their personal data when appropriate in our judgment unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency.

7. USE OF ANONYMOUS INFORMATION.

We may create anonymous information records from your Personal Information by excluding information (such as your name, email address, phone) that makes the information personally identifiable to you. E2Excel uses reasonable measures to maintain the security of your Personal Information. We use industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) encryption whenever we ask you to login to the Site and when we display your Personal Information. However, no company, including E2Excel can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of Personal Information through online transactions, and you do so at your own risk.

11. THIRD-PARTY CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR.

E2Excel uses Braintree, a third-party credit card processor, to process PayPal, Venmo (in the US), credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the most relevant wallets and other local payment methods for purchases made on our Site. When you select the Pay Online option, you are automatically redirected to the Braintree website. Please note that the Personal Information you provide to Braintree during the check-out process, such as your name, street address, email address, telephone number, and credit card information (number, expiration date, security code) is provided directly to Braintree and is stored by Braintree and not E2Excel, and as such, it is important to review Braintree’s privacy policy and use agreement posted on the Braintree website prior to providing this information. Braintree’s privacy policy will apply to the Personal Information you provide the Braintree web site. You hereby acknowledge and agree that E2Excel is not affiliated in any way with Braintree and that we have no responsibility or liability for the services provided by Braintree or for Braintree’s acts or omissions.

12. NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers who are California residents and who have provided E2Excel with "personal information" (as that term is defined in Section 1798.83) to request certain information about the disclosure of that information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
